Pittsburgh Man Fatally Shot In Knoxville

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – A man was fatally shot in Knoxville on Friday night.

It happened around 10:30 p.m. outside the Uni-Mart convenience store on Brownsville Road.

Officers found 23-year-old James Loughlin, of Pittsburgh, in the parking lot of the convenience store. He was suffering from a gunshot wound to the chest.

Loughlin was transported to a local hospital in critical condition. He was pronounced dead at 11:16 p.m.

Police believe Loughlin was standing outside a vehicle in the parking lot when a suspect allegedly emerged from the side of the store and shot him.

Police canvassed the area for evidence and processed the crime scene. No arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing.
