Plane Makes Emergency Landing In Pittsburgh After Odor Reported In Cockpit

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- An American Airlines plane had to make an emergency landing at Pittsburgh International Airport on Wednesday morning.

The flight was headed from New York JFK to Austin, Texas, when reports started coming in about an odor coming from the cockpit, airport authorities say.

The plane landed safely here in Pittsburgh around 10 a.m.

It remains unknown what caused the odor.

No injuries were reported.
