Pittsburgh Botanic Garden To Open New Welcome Center

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- The Pittsburgh Botanic Garden is getting ready to open up a brand new welcome center.

The 7,500 square foot building opens on Thursday.

It will also be the six-year anniversary of the garden, which opened in 2015.

Leaders say it will be a point of entry to the garden and also a central learning space.

Visitors will notice a new garden leading to the welcome center.
