Pittsburgh-area welding company building evacuated due to gas leak

ROSS TOWNSHIP (KDKA) — Several businesses in Ross Township had to be evacuated because of a gas problem at a welding business.

Workers at Csaszar Mechanical & Contracting Services on Babcock Boulevard reported the issue just after noon on Wednesday. Officials evacuated the building.

Businesses within 200 feet of the building were also evacuated and a section of Babcock Boulevard was closed for about two hours.

No injuries were reported.
