PITTSBURGH (93-7 The FAN) - Averaging over 13 points per game in what can be described as a breakout season, Pitt sophomore forward Jamel Artis has been voted by the ACC coaches to the All-ACC Third team.

Artis averaged 13.8 points per game, 16.1 in ACC games this year, while scoring over 20 points eight times and reaching double digits in 23 of 32 games on the year.

Artis was also named the ACC Player of the Week on February 9th after putting up a career-high 32 points against Bryant.
