Pitt's Bisnowaty Named To Lombardi Award Watch List

PITTSBURGH (93.7 The FAN) -- Pitt junior offensive tackle Adam Bisnowaty was named to the preseason watch list for the Rotary Lombardi Award, given at season's end to the nation's best lineman or linebacker.

Bisnowaty, a product of Fox Chapel High School, is a two-time ACC All-Academic team selection and figures to be a veteran leader in 2015.

The 6-foot-6, 300-pounder has started 18 games in the past two seasons. He gave his commitment to Todd Graham and the Panthers over Florida and a slew of other power-5 programs in 2011.

Bisnowaty is accompanied by 144 others on the list, including Penn State defensive tackle Anthony Zettel and West Virginia linebacker Nick Kwiatkoski.
