Pitt Running Back James Conner Makes Mid-Season All-American List

PITTSBURGH (93-7 The FAN) - After a start to the season that has him ranked as the nation's eighth-leading rusher, Pitt running back James Conner has been named to Phil Steele's Midseason Third Team All-American List.

Conner has racked up 959 yards in 7 games while ranking fifth nationally in rushing touchdowns with 11, eighth in rushing yards per game (137), 19th in scoring  with 9.4 points per game and 23rd in all-purpose yards with 141.29 per game.

This isn't the first honor Conner has received on the season for his stellar play as he's won multiple ACC Offensive Back of the Week awards and is a contender for the ACC Offensive Player of the Year award.

Conner leads the ACC in multiple categories including rushing yards, rushing touchdowns and all-purpose yards.
