Police Investigating Harassment Incident

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- Police are investigating after a student was grabbed and harassed while she was jogging Friday.

A female student told the University of Pittsburgh police that she was out jogging near the intersection of Ellsworth Avenue and South Highland Avenue in Shadyside when a man grabbed her from behind and thrust his pelvis into her. The suspect ran away when a bystander intervened.

University police say a similar incident in the same area was reported to Pittsburgh Police.

The suspect is described as an Asian man, about 75 years old. At the time of the incident, he was wearing a dirty long-sleeved jean shirt and khaki pants. He was last seen fleeing the scene toward Centre Avenue.
