Pitt Football Makes Offer To 2016 Recruit, Tennessee Three-Star Athlete

PITTSBURGH (93-7 The FAN) - Despite just putting the wraps on their first recruiting class here at Pitt, new head coach Pat Narduzzi and his staff have wasted no time in putting together their 2016 recruiting class.

According to Barton Simmons of 24-7 Sports, the Panthers have made an offer to three-star athlete Ikenna Okeke of the class of 2016.

Okeke, who previously had offers from Tennessee, Louisville, Pittsburgh and Cincinnati, is listed as an athlete that can play either wide receiver or safety at the next level.

Okeke, listed at 6'1 and 6'2 and 180 to 200 pounds, is rated the 30th overall safety in Tennessee and the 447th player in the class of 2016.

According to 24-7 Sports, Okeke has been timed in the 40-yard dash at 4.50 seconds.
