Pitt-Penn State Set Date For Renewal Of Rivalry In 2016

PITTSBURGH (93-7 The FAN) - The Pitt football program has announced their 2015 and 2016 non-conference dates and ACC opponents that will appear on next year's schedule.

The 2015 non-conference schedule has home dates with Youngstown State on Sept. 5 and Notre Dame on Nov. 7.

There will be road games against Akron on Sept. 12 and Iowa on Sept. 19.

The 2015 ACC opponents will bring Miami, North Carolina, Virginia and Louisville to Heinz Field, while the Panthers will travel to Duke, Georgia Tech, Virginia Tech and Syracuse.

The 2016 non-conference schedule features home games against Villanova on Sept. 3, Penn State on Sept. 10 and Marshall on Oct. 1.

There will be a road game at Oklahoma State on Sept. 17.

The 2016 ACC home games will be against Duke, Georgia Tech, Virginia Tech and Syracuse with road games against Miami, North Carolina, Virginia and Clemson.
