University Of Pittsburgh Approves Raising Tuition For Upcoming School Year

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- It is going to cost more to go to the University of Pittsburgh.

Tuition is going up for the upcoming school year. Our news partner at the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports the university approved a 2.5 percent increase in its base tuition for the main campus. Students at branch campuses will see a 1.5 percent hike.

The change means in-state students will pay roughly $400 more a year. Out-of-state students will pay around $1,400 more a year.
