Pirates Recall Mitch Keller, Will Start Against Reds

CINCINNATI (KDKA) -- The Pittsburgh Pirates have recalled right-handed pitcher Mitch Keller from Triple-A Indianapolis and announced he will be the starter in the second game of their doubleheader against the Reds.

The pitching prospect is 5-0 with a 3.45 ERA in nine starts in Indianapolis. He has racked up 56 strikeouts and only 20 walks.

To make room for Keller, right-handed pitcher Montana DuRapau has been optioned to Triple-A Indianapolis.
