PITTSBURGH (93-7 The FAN) - With an opening in the rotation still available after the Pirates placed Wandy Rodriguez on the disabled list, the Pirates announced the call-up of starting pitcher Jeff Locke.

The Pirates have recalled LHP Jeff Locke from Triple-A Indianapolis and have optioned RHP Casey Sadler to their Triple-A affiliate.
