Pirates Activate Josh Harrison From Disabled List

PITTSBURGH (93-7 The FAN) - On the disabled list since July 6 after tearing the ulnar collateral ligament in his left thumb, Pirates outfielder/infielder Josh Harrison has been activated from the disabled list.

In order to make room for Harrison on the 25-man roster, the Pirates designated for assignment right-handed pitcher Josh Wall.

Harrison went just 1-for-19 (.053) during a five-game rehabilitation assignment with the AAA Indianapolis Indians.

Before the injury, Harrison was hitting .279 with four home runs and 22 RBI in 75 games before the injury.
