Pine-Richland Middle School Evacuated For Bomb Threat

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – Police were called to Pine-Richland Middle School Thursday after a bomb threat was found in the bathroom.

In a letter sent out to parents, the district says the Northern Regional Police Department is investigating after the threat was found.

Students were evacuated to the school's stadium while police dogs conducted a search.

The district also asked parents to explain the gravity of making any kind of threats saying, "We encourage parents/guardians to stress the seriousness of making any type of threat or misbehavior like this."
