2 Local Pier 1 Imports Stores To Close

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- Two local Pier 1 Imports are closing as the company files for Chapter 11 bankruptcy.

The stores on McKnight Road in Pittsburgh and Washington Road in Washington will be shutting down.

Last month, Pier 1 announced it was closing almost half of its locations.

They're also planning layoffs at their corporate headquarters.
