Person Rescued From Crash Near Century III Mall

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – Emergency responders had to rescue someone from a car after two vehicles collided near the Century III Mall Thursday.

It happened on Route 51 when one car T-boned the other, then slammed into a retaining wall.

One person was removed from a car after responders cut the roof off.

The other person was able to get out of the car on their own.

Both were taken to the hospital.

The extent of their injuries is unknown.
