Person, Dog Safely Evacuate Fire At Springdale Residence

SPRINGDALE (KDKA) -- A person and a dog are safe are after a fire at a Springdale residence Friday afternoon.

One person was in the house on the 350 block of Orchard Street when the fire started but was able to evacuate.

KDKA crews report that a neighbor rescued a dog inside the residence.

The fire is under control.
