19-Year-Old Shot In Perry South
PERRY SOUTH (KDKA) -- A young man was shot in Perry South late Friday night.
It happened around 10:45 p.m. at the intersection of E. McIntyre Avenue and Maple Avenue.
Officers were sent to the area for reports that someone had been shot.
Police say when officers arrived on the scene, they found a 19-year-old man who had one gunshot wound in his left leg. The man had been driving near the intersection of Federal Street and Hemlock Street when shots were fired from a white Kia.
The two passengers in the victim's car were unharmed.
According to police, the victim was taken to Allegheny General Hospital in stable condition.
The investigation is ongoing.
