Perry Hwy. Business Damaged During Overnight Fire

MCCANDLESS (KDKA) -- An overnight fire damaged a business in McCandless.

The fire broke out around 3 a.m. at Bridges Sweeper Service in the 8400 block of Perry Highway, near the intersection with Montclair Avenue.

There were no reports of any injuries, but that stretch of Perry Highway was shut down while crews put out the flames. It reopened around 7:45 a.m.

There's no word yet on what sparked the fire, but it is not believed to be suspicious.
