People Getting Great Deals At Monroeville Consignment Sale

MONROEVILLE (KDKA) -- From toys to strollers, you can find everything you need for your little ones at "Just Between Friends."

It is a giant consignment sale, where people are able to sell items their children have outgrown.

"Typically the prices here you'll find 50 to 90 percent off of retail pricing," said organizer Kelly Robie.

Those deep discounts keep parents and grandparents coming back every year. The sale is typically held at the Monroeville Convention Center twice a year, in the spring and fall.

Karen Robinson of Monroeville enjoys shopping for her one-year-old grandson.

"Last year, we were able to get him toys, we got him his first little walker that he used, a push toy for $5 and you normally get those for like $34 or $35," Robinson said.

Nicole Smith of Allison Park looks mostly for toys and clothing for her two-year-old daughter. Jessica Crosby makes the trip from Connellsville every year.

"My daughter is getting into Justice brand and a shirt at Justice can be $36, and I've bought them for $6 here, its a huge difference," she said.

The sale at the Monroeville Convention Center runs through Sunday. But if you don't have a chance to make it out, there is another one at the end of the month at the Robert Morris University Island Sports Center.
