Pens Sign Matt Cullen To One-Year Contract

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – The Penguins have signed veteran center Matt Cullen to a one-year contract for $800,000.

Cullen has played in the NHL for 17 years and played under GM Jim Rutherford while on the Carolina Hurricanes in the 2005-06 season and from 2007-10.

He won a Stanley Cup with the Hurricanes in 2006.

Cullen stands at 6 feet 1 inch tall, 200-pounds and has been in the NHL since 1997.
