Pennsylvania Now One Of Top States For Zika Virus
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – Pennsylvania now has one of the highest number of travel-related Zika cases in America.
The Department of Health says there are now 74 confirmed cases of Zika in Pennsylvania, with another 94 cases currently pending.
That means only four other states have more travel-related cases than Pennsylvania.
Florida, New York, California and Texas are those states.
In Allegheny County there have been seven confirmed cases of the Zika Virus.
The state has launched an emergency action plan for the Zika Virus.
