The unit heads for Texas for a culminating exercise and will then deploy to Poland to lead a multinational task force composed of soldiers from the United States, United Kingdom, Croatia and Romania.

Members have been preparing for the mission for more than a year. Training has included a rotation last summer at the National Training Center at Ft. Irwin, California.

The squadron headquarters is in Danville with subordinate Pennsylvania units in Williamsport, Wellsboro, Lewisburg and Lock Haven.
