WalletHub: Pennsylvania Among Least Safe States During Pandemic

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) - Pennsylvania ranks 34th on WalletHub's list of safest states during the COVID-19 pandemic.

WalletHub says they looked at COVID-19 transmission, positive testing, hospitalization rate, death rate and the share of the eligible population getting vaccinated.

The three safest states are Alaska, Hawaii and North Dakota, according to the report.

The three least safe are Virginia, Georgia and New York.

Pennsylvania, sitting at 34, is above Oklahoma and below North Carolina.
