Pennsylvania Food Banks Team Up With DoorDash To Deliver Free Meals To Seniors

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- Pennsylvania's anti-hunger organizations are teaming with DoorDash to bring food boxes to seniors.
The goal is to get more people involved in the Pennsylvania Senior Food Box Program.
The state says more than 300,000 seniors are eligible for free, nutritious meal deliveries but only 35,000 people are signed up.
The partnership with DoorDash was announced at the Westmoreland County Food Bank on Thursday and Second Lady Gisele Fetterman was on hand.
