Penn Hills High School Placed On Lockdown

PENN HILLS (KDKA) – The Penn Hills High School was on lockdown Monday and police were called to the scene.

According to school officials, a lockdown was put into effect around 10:13 a.m. The exact reason for the lockdown was not released, but it was prompted by information from an anonymous source.

Students were not allowed to leave the building, but classes went on as normal.

The Penn Hill Police Department is investigating, but nothing suspicious was found during the sweeps of the building.
