Penguins To Host Flyers In Game 1 Of Playoffs On Wednesday

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- The Pittsburgh Penguins will be hosting the Philadelphia Flyers in the first round of the Stanley Cup playoffs Wednesday.

Last night, Pens fans found out the team would be facing off against the Philadelphia Flyers in the first round of the playoffs. Now we know when that series will start.

The Pens announced Sunday afternoon that the first game will take place on Wednesday at 7 p.m. Game 2 will take place on Friday at 7 p.m.

The Penguins will then travel to Philadelphia to play on Sunday, April 15, and Wednesday, April 18.

If necessary, the series will return to PPG Paints Arena on Friday, April 20, for Game 5.
