Penguins Re-Sign D Justin Schultz To 1-Year Deal

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – The Pittsburgh Penguins have re-signed another piece of their Stanley Cup winning team.

According to the team's official website, the Penguins have re-signed defenseman Justin Schultz to a 1-year deal worth $1.4 million.

Originally acquired by the Penguins in February for a third round draft pick, Schultz had eight points (one goal, seven assists) in 18 regular season games.

During the playoffs, Schultz appeared in 15 games and added four assists.

In 266 career games, Schultz has 29 goals and 80 assists.
