Penguins-Rangers Stanley Cup Playoffs Preview
PITTSBURGH (93-7 The FAN) - With Penguins fans mostly paying attention to the team in the hopes that they made the playoffs as it came down to the final game of the season, they probably haven't had much time to preview the first round matchup with the New York Rangers.
Luckily, CBSSports.com Hockey Writer Adam Gretz has five things to know about this series.
As Gretz writes, the Rangers have dominated the Penguins for the second straight year, so you can expect the Pens to be the underdog when the series opens on Thursday.
A positive for the Pens according to Gretz, is the fact that they'll finally be able to dress six defenseman after playing several games over the last two weeks with only five due to salary cap issues.
