Penguins: Crosby, Malkin To Miss Start Of Camp

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – The Pittsburgh Penguins have reported to training camp on Thursday, However, two of the team's biggest stars will miss the start of camp.

According to the team's official website, both Sidney Crosby and Evgeni Malkin will be held out of the start of camp due to injuries.

The extent of the injuries are unknown, but General Manager Jim Rutherford described the move to keep the out as "precautionary."

Both players suffered an injury while preparing for camp.
