Penguins Announce Big Screen Will Be Back For Second-Round Home Games

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- Good news, Penguins fans.

The big screen is back for the second round of the playoffs.

The Penguins will take on the Washington Capitals in the best-of-seven series beginning Thursday night, but the big screen will only be available to fans during home games here in Pittsburgh.

Games 1 and 2 are away, but Games 3 and 4 will be played on Monday, May 2, and Wednesday, May 4, at CONSOL Energy Center.

Like the first round, the big screen will be located near the Peoples Gate at the corner of 5th Avenue and Washington Place.

For away games, the Penguins say fans can gather across the street from the arena at Buford's Kitchen restaurant for official watch parties.

Also, for those fans with tickets, the team says they are bringing back the "Gold Rush." Fans attending Games 3 and 4 will be receiving gold tee-shirts and towels.
