Pedestrian Distracted By Cell Phone Trips, Falls Into Sidewalk Basement

PLAINFIELD, N.J. (KDKA) - A woman was seriously injured in New Jersey when she tripped over an open cellar door and tumbled into the basement.

The 67-year-old woman was looking at her cell phone when she flipped - head first - into the basement about six feet below.

Fire crews rescued the woman and took her to a hospital.
