Pascal Dupuis Will Return For Pittsburgh Penguins Tonight Vs. Dallas Stars

PITTSBURGH (KDKA)- According to the Pittsburgh Penguins' official Twitter page, Pascal Dupuis will return to the lineup against the Dallas Stars tonight.

Dupuis was on his way back to the Penguins' roster after sustaining his second blood clot in 11 months last season. In November of 2014, Dupuis was scheduled to miss six months of time. Seven months passed and Dupuis was cleared for contact in June.

Before the 2015-16 campaign got underway, Dupuis sustained a lower-body injury that was originally intended to stymie his return another 4-6 weeks. The Laval, Quebec, Canada-native will participate in his first game since Nov. 15 of last year.

Prior to the 2012-13 season, Dupuis only missed two games in four years. In just the last two seasons alone, Dupuis has missed a combined-100 games.
