Part Of I-80 Closed Due To Tanker & Tractor-Trailer Crash

CLINTONVILLE (KDKA)- Part of Interstate 80 in Venango County was closed Tuesday morning as crews cleaned up a messy crash.

Clintonville Police Chief Gerry Rea said a tractor-trailer lost a set of wheels along I-80 eastbound near the Clintonville exit.

Then, a tanker truck hauling water and oil waste hit the tractor-trailer and rolled over.

The tanker truck lost half of its load, which spilled all over I-80.

Neither of the truck drivers were hurt in the crash.

Eastbound lanes of I-80 near the Clintonville exit were closed as of 4:30 a.m. It could take hours to clean up the spill and the wreckage.
