Panthers To Take On Navy In Military Bowl

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- The Pittsburgh Panthers will play Navy in the Military Bowl later this month.

The game will take place at Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium in Annapolis, Maryland, on December 28th at 2:30 p.m. It will be nationally televised on ESPN.

The Military Bowl is presented by Northrop Grumman and benefits the USO.

"The Military Bowl is a tremendous opportunity for our team to end the season against a nationally ranked opponent," Pitt head coach Pat Narduzzi said. "Navy is a Top 25 team with a Heisman-caliber quarterback in Keenan Reynolds. They will present us with a formidable challenge."

Meanwhile, the Penn State Nittany Lions will head to Jacksonville, Florida to face the University of Georgia Bulldogs in the TaxSlayer Bowl on January 2nd. The WVU Mountaineers will play the Arizona State Sun Devils later that same day for the Cactus Bowl in Phoenix, Arizona.
