Man Shot In McKeesport, Rushed To Hospital

MCKEESPORT (KDKA) -- One man was rushed to the hospital after being shot in McKeesport on Thursday afternoon.
According to police, the shooting happened in the 2700 block of Palmgreen Street around 1:15 p.m.
Allegheny County Police say the 22-year-old victim was taken by medical helicopter to a local hospital for treatment.
He was listed in critical condition.
Witnesses reported to police that the victim and another man were shooting at each other, investigators said.
"We know from some of the neighbors that there was another person about 200 feet away that was shooting at the victim," said Allegheny County Police Lt. Andrew Schurman.
Police say the other man is described as a white male who was wearing all dark clothing.
Police continue to investigate.
