Pa. Woman Charged In Double Homicide Found Dead In Prison Cell

YORK, Pa. (AP) - A woman charged with the shooting deaths of a two people in a Pennsylvania home has been found dead in her prison cell.

York County Coroner Pam Gay says 32-year-old Veronique Henry was found unresponsive in her cell at the York County Prison Thursday morning after an apparent hanging.

The York Dispatch reports Henry and her 40-year-old husband Paul Henry were arrested Wednesday on charges including homicide and robbery.

Police accused the two of killing 31-year-old Foday Cheeks and 26-year-old Danielle Taylor at a Fawn Township home Tuesday.

A 12-year-old boy and 14-year-old boy were in the house at the time, as were two women.

Witnesses told police the suspects took their cellphones and tore through the house looking for drugs.
