Pa. Lottery Introducing New "PICK" Twice-Daily Drawings

HARRISBURG, Pa. (AP) - The Pennsylvania Lottery is launching a new lineup of daily drawings that includes new names for some longstanding games.

Lottery officials say four games will be grouped together as "PICK" games, in which players can bet on two to five numbers in drawings held twice a day.

PICK 2 is a new game that allows players to choose any two-digit number. PICK 3, which has been known as The Daily Number for 38 years, will allow players to choose any three-digit number. PICK 4 will be the new name of BIG 4 and PICK 5 will replace Quinto.

The changes will take effect on Jan. 27.
