Pa. Likely To Fall Short Of 70% Vaccination Goal Before Mask Mandate Ends

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- The mask mandate in Pennsylvania is set to be lifted next week, and it appears the state will not reach the 70% vaccination goal that would lead to the mandate being lifted ahead of time.

According to the state's Department of Health, just over 60% of population have gotten one vaccine dose, and 48% are fully vaccinated.

Governor Tom Wolf said the mandate would end earlier than June 28 if 70% of Pennsylvanians were fully vaccinated
