Pa. Governor Wolf Allows Bill On Records Access During Disasters To Become Law

HARRISBURG (KDKA) -- A new transparency bill will become law without Governor Tom Wolf's signature.

The governor said he won't sign a bill that requires state agencies to process public records during a state of emergency.

The bill says agencies can only deny records requests during disasters like fires and floods.

The bill passed the legislate unanimously.
