Overnight Chase Leaves 2 Police Cars Damaged In West Mifflin

WEST MIFFLIN (KDKA)- Two police cars needed to be towed away from the end of a chase in West Mifflin.

The chase started around 2 a.m. in Duquesne. Police were chasing a white SUV for an unknown reason.

The chase went onto the train tracks along Grant Avenue Extension in West Mifflin.

The SUV finally came to a stop and one person was taken into custody. A second person was said to have ran away from the scene.

Two police cars involved in the chase had multiple flat tires from the chase. Tow trucks were called in to take the cars away.

There is no word on what sparked the chase.
