One Arrested For Firing 20-Plus Shots Into West Mifflin Home

WEST MIFFLIN (KDKA) – A man has been arrested in connection with 20 shots being fired into a West Mifflin home.

Police officials announced Monday that 25-year-old Christopher Cunningham was in custody. A second suspect, Shawn O'Leary, was expected to surrender to police shortly.

Officers say Cunningham shot up a house on Glencairn Street after being ripped off for a thousand dollars in a drug deal.

The homeowner, Eric Chedwick, said he was sleeping on the living room couch when the shooting started.

Chedwick said his wife and their daughter's 3-month-old baby were sleeping in a bedroom. The daughter and her boyfriend were in their own bedroom.

"Those bullets were a foot away from where my baby was," Chedwick said.
