Ohio Middle School Coach Faces Child Pornography Charges

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (AP) - Authorities say an assistant coach for a middle school girls' basketball team in northeast Ohio has been charged with child pornography related crimes.

The Ohio attorney general's office says 59-year-old Rex Bosley of Austintown Township near Youngstown was arrested Wednesday. Bosley has been charged with one count each of pandering sexually oriented matter involving a minor, pandering obscenity involving a minor and illegal use of a minor in nudity oriented material or performance. Bosley coaches at Austintown Middle School.

A spokesman for the attorney general's office wouldn't say what prompted the investigation that began in March. He says investigators aren't aware of any local victims.

Bosley is being held in the Mahoning County Jail. No attorney information was available for him on the county's clerk of courts website.
