WINDBER, Pa. (AP) - An Ohio man has been arraigned in the deaths of two western Pennsylvania men reported missing almost two years ago.

Twenty-four-year-old Devon Wyrick of Columbus was extradited from Ohio last week and arraigned in the deaths of 19-year-old Damian Staniszewski and 32-year-old James Edward Smith.

The victims were last seen at Smith's Cambria County home and reported missing in March 2017. Their remains were found by hunters in September in a wooded area in Conemaugh Township, Somerset County.

Wyrick and a Johnstown man are charged with criminal homicide in the deaths, which authorities allege stemmed from a dispute over drugs. Another man faces kidnapping and other charges.

Wyrick's attorney, Sally Frick, said Saturday she looked forward to seeing the evidence against her client and "mounting a challenge to it."
