2 Workers Injured In Explosion, Fire At West Virginia Truck Cleaning Facility

WHEELING, W.Va. (AP) — An explosion and fire at a truck cleaning facility in West Virginia has injured two employees, officials said.

The explosion was reported at a garage Monday night while a tanker was in the process of being cleaned, Ohio County Emergency Management Agency Director Lou Vargo told news outlets.

Two workers were burned and taken to Wheeling Hospital, he said. The extent of their injuries wasn't clear.

The building where the fire occurred was a complete loss, Vargo said.

It wasn't immediately clear what caused the explosion.
