Officials: Boy, 4, Severs Several Toes In Lawnmower Mishap

PITTSBURGH (KDKA/AP) - Officials say a 4-year-old boy has lost several toes in a lawnmower mishap in Mount Washington Wednesday afternoon.

The Pittsburgh Tribune-Review reports the incident occurred around 5 p.m. Wednesday on Estella Avenue.

The boy was taken to Children's Hospital after getting his foot caught in the lawnmower. It's unclear what his condition is.

Investigators haven't said what led up to the incident.
