Obama To Visit Pittsburgh On Thursday For Conference

WASHINGTON (AP) - President Obama travels to Pittsburgh on Thursday to host a conference on the future of innovation in this country and around the world.

The White House Frontiers Conference is being co-hosted by University of Pittsburgh and Carnegie Mellon University.

It will focus on building U.S. capacity in science, technology and innovation "and the new technologies, challenges and goals that will continue to shape the 21st century and beyond.

The president is to deliver a speech and participate in a panel discussion at Carnegie Mellon University.
