Oakmont Bakery Cuts The Ribbon On New State-Of-The-Art Location

OAKMONT (KDKA) -- It's the start of a new era for Oakmont Bakery.
The sweets shop opened its new state-of-the-art location at the end of the Hulton Bridge on Tuesday morning.

The owners hope this new location will serve the community just as well, if not better, than the old location, which has stood for decades on Allegheny Avenue.
"I think this building will last for many generations," said Marc Serrao, the owner of Oakmont Bakery. "It's a great building, lot of room, and I feel like it was planned really well. We put so much into it, so it is really emotional."
The bakery also has a new address to match on One Sweet Street.
