North Side Girl Found In Chicago After Going Missing For 2 Months

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- A 13-year-old girl from Pittsburgh's North Side who disappeared two months ago has been found nearly 500 miles away in Illinois.

According to the Allegheny County Sheriff's Department, Jordyn Robinson went missing back on Sept. 4.

Her parents reported her missing that day and authorities had been searching for her ever since.

Authorities tracked Robinson to the Chicago area. She was reunited with her family on Wednesday.

The girl told police she ran away.

Investigators say she had been staying in several places in Chicago, and told the people she was staying with she was 18-years-old.
